Hello all-

It is great to hear from so many people that are checking out this website.  As I mentioned previously, when I got help setting it up, I didn’t realize it would be a blog, so writing frequent posts wasn’t expected.  I have come to understand that just like the rest of this site, I guess God had a surprise for me.  I will attempt to post more frequently, although the point of this site really isn’t about me.

Just like Christmas, this site really is about my lord and savior, Jesus Christ.  Some two thousand and odd years ago Jesus was born as part of the greatest story every lived out.  As I’ve been with my family, enjoying their company, eating good food, and opening presents, it has been refreshing to remember to keep it in prespective, that this really has been all about Him and not the stuff.

I had been sick for a couple days so wasn’t able to exercise for almost a week.  I figured all the time I spent by the porcelain throne and not eating much made up for it :)   It was great to get out and go for a 4 mile run the other day.  We’ve had some wonderful weather and I got some wonderful running attire for Christmas that I was able to use.  Hopefully you have been able to get out and exercise, enjoy the weather, and give God glory.

If you have seen in the pictures or from friends of yours, I have made shirts previously that promote this website as an outreach to let people know about salvation in Christ.  Probably at the end of January I will place another order, which will probably be a different type of shirt to see what a different type looks like.  If YOU ARE INTERESTED in a JESUSJOGGER.COM t-shirt, please email me at jesusjogger@gmail.com with your contact information, if you want shirts for a male or female, and sizes.  I truly believe that this site was started because God prompted me to do it and know that he will work through it and therefore if you want to donate money for the shirt you order, that’s great, but I am willing to pay for shirts for people who would be interested in one if they don’t have the money or don’t want to have to pay for one.

Jogging for Him,

John
